Hi all,

I have made a low poly human character in max 5, and has faced alot of problems when it comes to biped and physique.

Well, the problems lie with the joints of the character: the ankle, the knee, the hip, the elbow, the armpit, and the neck areas. I just can't seem to make them look right. Those joint areas always look terrible when I try to bend them.

Just want to ask is there any tutorials on this subject? I have been searching on the net but I can't seem to find any tutorials talking about joint areas.

Thanks

Hi Terry

Perhaps you could post up an image of the mesh you are using?

Normally if you have bendy problems then it could be either your mesh not having the correct definition at the joints/you haven't spent enough time tweaking the envelopes or it could be something entirely different....:)

A good tutorial/s are the 'Character Studio' dvd's available at www.cgtraining.com...

...and no, i'm not affiliated with them in anyway, shape or form, they just made my life easier when it came to learning CS4 as opposed to wading through countless tut's and still be none the wiser.

Hope this helps.
