I've searched the tutorial update thread: http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21263&highlight=tree,

Behide that Tree Tutorial inside, will there be any other advance tutorials on creating trees using 3d studio max?

Besides, is there any method exporting the 3d tree model from Corel Bryce to 3D Studio Max?
Thanks for your consideration
Herman

Do you mean Saastamoinen's tut?

I like TreeMaker, a nice freebie script for making trees.

EasyNat and SpeedTree make better trees.

whats a billboard tree, compared to a regular tree? I keep hearing that term (ex.) "Billboard grass".

My guess is that 'billboard' means that its actually just a flat plane with a picture of a tree or blade of grass on it. The planes are made to face to camera continuously. This would be an acceptable method which saves computing and rendering power for trees and grass in the background, and extreme distance.
