I need tips... and yes I know how to texture, I mean, I don't only use Diffuse... but still it won't look as good as I want it to look. thansk for the help

PLease Please... I really need help... what is thebest techniwue to texture building.... should I unwrap stuff, use uvwmap... my scene can not be too big cause it's for an animation, so it can't be too heavy and it can't take 5 hours per frames....

Post an example of what you have so far.
Have you tried tiling textures?

This is how I would like to texture my buildings... without making them too heavy, but I want them to look like that,
Example1 (http://img15.photobucket.com/albums/v46/laurence000/?action=view¤t=gon45b.jpg)
Example2 (http://img15.photobucket.com/albums/v46/laurence000/?action=view¤t=sla37.jpg)
How would you texture so it would look something like that... what technique would you use... Thanks!!!

Without modeling much, I would use tiled "windows" textures, with masks to control where the windows are revealed. Then bump maps for all the bevels. Might also help to add a "shell" over some buildings, with an opacity map, to get that girder-shell look.
Then for the generic flat parts, I would add the generic space-ship-hull-plating texture.
Here's a tutorial that can get you started.

I made this so far... I made the whole texture and everything in photoshop using mostly brushes.. what do you think, what more could be done.. I find it hard to be objective right now!!!
What I've made (http://img15.photobucket.com/albums/v46/laurence000/?action=view¤t=building_text_2.jpg)
what do you think... do they look like buildings??????

It's a good start!
It needs details to give it a sense of scale. I see no windows. The geometry needs to be more interesting too, look again at your reference. Antennas help.
