View Full Version : Head Study
vizion 01-25-2004, 04:47 AM hey everyone,
I'm currently working on this head model, and i need some help with the tearducts. Can someone show or tell me what i need to do in order to model them correctly?

Really nice model man, I'm impressed. The face looks really realistic, but it seems that you have some loops that do not follow the musculature inbetween the the eyebrows(area).
As far as the tearducts go, I usually always forget to pay much attention to when I model faces. They are not hard to make. I think Peter Ratners tutorial on modeling a face has that part covered pretty well.
Here is the link to the tutorial (http://cal.jmu.edu/ratner/tutorials/)
Very nice start. (would you post a wire)

Thank you. That's pretty good lightwave tut. I'm not too sure how to get the eyebrows to look as if they're being flexed( for lack of a better word). So far I haven't used any references when working, except for the ears, and i think that's why it's also a little harder to get the tearducts to look normal. Anyway, here's a wire.

Hey, that's a really nice and clean mesh. Great loop flow. I am not sure you should have that loop quite that sharp around the eyebrow area.
Really nice. Is texturing in the plans?
(I don't know if you have stumbled upon this (http://coldfusion.art.msstate.edu/camenisch/thehumanhead/modelingtheory3.html) website or not, but it has some good content on modeling heads (theory, but no real tuts))
