View Full Version : Getting a 17" TFT, I need some advice

Hello, I'm going to buy a 17" TFT screen but I need some advie and some question solved. I have been looking at LG L1720B, Samsung 172x, Samsung 173T and Viewsonic VP171b. Is 16.2 milj color much worser than 16.7milj, do you notice the difference? Does the Viewsonic VP171b only have color depth of 260k? Is there a big diffrence between d-sub and dvi interface in image quality and does my radeon 9800xt with dvi-i socket work with the dvi-d connection? This screen is going to be used as my primary and I will use it for graphic (painting and 3d) and some games ( mostly rts but also fps). All suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance.
