View Full Version : how do i get my text to show up as a 3d object in after effects?

am using cinema 4d and i have the plugin installed in after effects to open up aec files from cinema. when i open a file the image is flattened and not in 3d. what am i doing wrong? for right now i'm just trying to import regular shaded 3d text without animation.

should i stick to text effects in after effects or will i be able to create more stunning text effects in cinema?
