I love that render! .. tell me, do you set up that car on a big ass plane, so that the ends of it are of the map? How do you get that endless feeling.. if ya know what I mean...

Good looking model. Right now it looks cel shaded because its in an environment with nothing to reflect. Try either adding things to the environment for it to reflect like luminous shapes, or using an hdri as a reflection map or environment map.

you make me wanna model a car myself, maybe i will someday :)
lik otacon said, reflect some hdri images, it'll look amazing.

I've been working on the same car, you handled it very well! I think the renders could use some work, I agree they look a bit cell shaded because of the environment. As far as the car itself, the headlights should be chrome material inside( would make them stand out more), and the little piece seperating the side windows would look better in the stock black IMO. Very good work!

Wow, wow wow man, that is incredible. The modeling is reall nice, looks very realistic. I agree with others, you should use environment mapping to get the reflectivity more obvious.
The head/tail lights are the only things bothering me right now.
Very nice work.
bastiaan, putting a very large plane does not work in most cases. What one usually does is set the color of the background to that of the part of the plane where it meets the background. Usually, because the plane is affected by lighting this can become a bit tedious, but that's the general idea. (Ykay and bastiaan, I hope you guys don't mind my answering this)
Thx a lot ! Yes I'll try with hdri images.
And bastiaan, i just use Brazil with the ground plane (Thx Armenian for the answer ;) )
