The idea for my degree's final project has been approved. I am going to look into the issues of character animation including the body movement, facial animation and lip sync. I am going to take out part of Michael Jackson's Video and make a virtual character to act lik MJ.
I wanted to do something on MJ's 30th Anniversary, because it's a live performance and the camera is mostly looking at him and let me see what he's doing.
However, I couldn't find high quality footage. The latest DVD I can get is the History on Film V2 released in 1998, those are MTVs and the numerous camera cuts make it really difficult to learn MJ's movement.
