I just recently got a Quadro4 980xgl and it seems that it doesn't keep my adobe gamma setting for two monitors when i boot up. here are my specs.

980xgl
samsung 191t+ lcd 1280x1024 60hz
17" dell trinitron crt 1280x1024 85hz
using ultramon have tried nview though

i was using a radeon 9500pro and it had different gamma settings for each monitor.like when i would open adobe gamma it would change profiles automatically when i dragged to each monitor. and in the display settings, under each monitors color management tabs, were different profiles. each monitor could have it's own default. with the quadro it loads up the default profile and one monitor is perfect while the other one is way off depending on which profile is set to default. i can then open up adobe gamma drag it to the monitor i want to change load up the correct profile and all is good until i play a game or reboot. i hate doing this every single time. how come a ati gaming card can do this but a professional card cannot? someone please help. until i can afford another 191t+, that won't look that different, what can i do?

Under nview span it isn't supposed to work at all. It works in nview dualview on my computer - sort of (I mean as good as you can expect adobe/windows shit to work).

There's a bunch of people on this board who think that Nview Span is the best shit since ****ing - so ask them.

I don't know shit about Ultramon.

[edit]
The thing is - for adobe gamma to work it needs the OS to see different monitors. Nvidia, ATI and Matrox have two ways of handling dual monitors - either one big-ass desktop stretched across multiple monitors or a normal part of windows desktop per each monitor (in which case you can asign profiles and all of that...). So get the dualview working and adobe gamma will work as advertised.

See that's what I have it on, dual view! Could it be a driver problem? I'm using the latest drivers. I just turned Ultramon off and used the nview desktop manager, yet the same thing happens. Annoyed! If you use dual view you should definitely check out Ultramon. I think its way better. Although it doesn't do that zoom stuff, like nview can. It still works with opengl on both monitors. You also get two separate taskbars one for each monitor. When you move windows back and forth each task bar has the window(s) for that monitor. and you can still maximize a window across both monitors with a touch of a button.... Anyway....sorry to babble I'm really tired. I'll try to reinstall the drivers as well as adobe gamma and see if that works.
