what you you (the viewer) think is the best way to handle topography in a site using maya?
i have CAD drawings that show a neighborhood with some hills. nothing extensive. i'm trying to figure out if i should create a displacement map, try and create some curves and then loft the curves, etc. i will still need to stencil grass and street curbs to the site so i have to keep that in consideration as well. that information is in CAD as well.
