I have an Intuous Serial graphics tablet and I usually just unplug it every night when I turn my computer off.

Wacom didn't put an off/on switch and otherwise it would just stay on all the time. Might sound like a pretty obtuse question, I don't know if it's wiser to unplug it when I'm not using it or if it maters.

I hope it does not matter because I leave my usb plugged in all the time!

I use it as my standard mouse, so yes.

well, if you think about it, many schools and businesses leave their workstations on all the time. and many of them have wacom tablets, my school included. and they work just fine.

i wouldn't worry at all.

especially if you have an intuos2, those are made to be the professional series, and i would imagine those are made to take a beating...
