View Full Version : Graphire3 only works on 1 username in XP home??

Ummmmm, yea, I just got my graphire3, the little 4x5 one, and my dad was like, I wanna use that. So he goes on his username in XP, and it doesn't work for him. It also doesn't work with any other names, except mine.

I love the thing, it works great, but is there anyway around this?

I think the only thing that might be hindering this problem is the fact that more than one user (like me and my dad for the computer) was on at the time.

Any help??? Thx

seems to me like the driver's are not loading on your dad's login, either 1: fix it manually if you know how. or if you aren't a geek like me, 2: install drivers on dad's login :bowdown:

I tried installin on my dad's name, but it says, well when i try to do it, that it's gonna uninstall my hardware...

Any other ideas?

try installing under the administrator account, and specifying that the device will be used under all accounts.

otherwise.. good luck. i have learned not to expect anything from wacom in under 3 months. (quite often even a simple response email)

Tell your dad to go buy his own freaking Wacom and computer while he's at it! Geez! Can't kids have their own CG quality time?

Seriously tho', opus13 is correct. You need to install under an Admin account and ensure it's installed for ALL users.
