I don't know about the rest of the "University" but there is a seminar called "Advanced Rendering" that I believe is part of what you are talking about. It will be all about how to get the most out of mental ray/XSI.

Along with many others, I'll be presenting at that one. Hope to see you there.

The classes will all be presented on the Exhibit floor right or at the Softimage user group?

Do you need one of those all conference passes that are expensize as all hell?

Or can't you get in with the pass one under that?

I don't remember the name of the pass i have but I really want to sit in on some of these classes.

I don't know. But I doubt it. I think that these classes are independent from the siggraph papers/courses. As a result they will probably not require full conference passes. But, again, I don't know for sure. (I am only speculating) It's probably best to mail Softimage directly and ask.
