hey, i'm trying to make a model based on the concept done by Scott Robertson ( http://www.drawthrough.com/ ).

i've got most of the modeling done and have start to skin it, but i'm rubbish at skinning so it could take forever....... C&C would be cool, cheers.

POLY = 800 not including the dummy inside.
SKIN = 1 512x512 (intend to use 2 of 512x512)

Cool, but if you want to recreate the sketch you might wanna work on the nose and cockpit. They dont really resemble the design. The nose needs to be more sharp and the back of the cockpit goes al the way back to the back.
And I think overall the ship in the drawing is more slim.

Cool subject to model though.

progress looks to be going well. how far way will this be seen? if its close I'd add geometry to the air intake.

To me, it looks like Scott Robertson based his design heavily off of the P51 Mustang. You may want to look at that plane, and compare with the original design and your version. Yours just has a little tweaking to go, and you should add some poly to it.

cheers for the feedback, the polys only 800 so i can bump it up a far bit yet. hope fully have an update by tuesday.
