Hey, these are great! Nice res, clean lighting, clear usage statement. It's a shame that you had to include a watermark on every one... I would have to clone or crop them out. I just can't see including that in one of my renders. :)

I would like to see some examples/tutorials of how you use textures like these.

Are they any good for movie quality animations or are they only of use to games?

Hi.
I have this two examples at hand.

In both the textures are applied to the walls. (the concrete wall in the left in one and the plaster brown wall in the other), both made in Cinema 4d.

Image textures are in the color and bump channels.

Well that looks pretty good. I just always seem to end up with a very patchy result when trying to use textures like this. I must be doing something wrong I guess.

"Patchy" sounds like bad tiling. Here are some good tutorials about how to tile textures...
