I'm having a problem with max5.1 sp1 that no one here at work can help me with and seems only inheirent to my computer. My snap function comes on while working on a file and WILL NOT go off. In the snap menu (right click on the snap icons) I deselect everything. In the snap icons nothing is selected. I've even tried the manual override but still nothing. I've shift + rmb and went into that menu and nothing is selected there either. I also deleted the .ini file (I've had a couple of corrupt versions of it) and still no luck. The weird thing is that yesterday it snapped on all axis and now it's only snapping on the y axis.

If anyone can give me an idea about which way to go with this I would be much appreciative.

Thanks

I found that if I select my vertex and then zoom out (pretty darn far), then move the vert a good distance away and then zoom back in and then undo that the snapping dissappears.

I noticed that there's a few other people on here having a similar problem so I decided to post the response. I hope this helps you guys later on.
