I really like this pic, maybe needs more detail on the roots of the trees though.
and btw, the lighting rocks big time!!! good stuff!

I forgot to mention, it was done with 3dsmax 4.2 and brazil. I'm sure that question would come up

Really like the lightning on the 1st image, it's almost dreamy :D

the render is very nice, the idea is simple, the modelling is not that advanced, the texturing is very nice :)

i like the above image more, mostly cause of that glow in the light...

That is a nice image. :thumbsup:

Only thing that bugs me are the perfect speres in front of the building. Everything else in the image is nice and organic looking and then you have the perfect and rigid spheres. To me they stand out like sore thumbs. Maybe something more asymetrical to help keep the organic flow to the image.

if I remember correctly, it took about 2 hours and 30 min, rendering at 1600x900, which is actually good for brazil. I estimated it to take about 7 hours
