View Full Version : god damn TRIs!!!
cdinic 06-25-2002, 01:40 PM I have been using Max for 4 years now, and never have had this problem before. All my meshes are displaying their triangulation. If a make a 1 by 1 plane I get a stupid line running diagonally across it. It's not problem, just an annoyance. I am experiencing this on MAX 4.2 here at work but not at home. I am baffled.
Thanks!

It's just a problem of display's configuration : go into your drivers under Customize/ Preferences and then click on the viewport tab then configure driver : you have an option called triangle strip.
If you are running Maxtreme, the "problem" appears only when you are dealing with primitives. No more triangles strips when you collapse th hierarchy.
Cheers :°)

That makes perfect sense, and it worked. Thanks!
