"Missed the Electronic Theater show at Luluís? Want to find out more about SIGGRAPH and what we are about? Want to meet and hang out with local professionals and students who share a common interest in computing graphics? Say no more! This event is for you! DC_SIGGRAPH will be presenting a second showing of the Electronic Theater from this past SIGGRAPH Conference. The SIGGRAPH Electronic Theater showcases some of the most dazzling and innovative collections of work selected by distinguished jury of computer graphics experts and specialists.

DC_SIGGRAPH will be showing the SIGGRAPH 2003 Electronic Theater DVD at the Art Institute of Washington, January 29th, 2004 from 6-9pm in room 1203. The video will start at 6:30 and run until about 8:30. Popcorn and soda will be served.

RSVP is required due to limited seating. Please send an email to either dc_siggraph@mail.com or bi311@fac.aii.edu to reserve your seat.

Afterwards, join us for more for discussions, networking, and thirst quenching at the Continental. The Continental (found on the web at http://goodeyeonline.com/continental/) is located in Rosslyn, Virginia at the corner of North Moore Street and Lee Highway, which are just a few blocks away from AiW. The Continental is one block North of the Rosslyn Metro Station, and just across the Key Bridge coming from Georgetown.

The Art Institute is located at 1820 North Fort Myer Drive and is conveniently located across from the Rosslyn metro stop on the blue line. Directions to Ai Washington can be found at this website: http://www.aiw.artinstitutes.edu/directions.asp

Im definitly going to this event.
Finallly something is happening in the city I live in (D.C.)
I hope there's more stuff in the works I can look foward too.

Sucks that I got booted from the bar everyone went to afterwards...
Still 7 months to go till I'm of age.
