These are some concept sketches. The 1,2 and 3 are just general idea. Then i used simple geom. to try out the camera. In 4,5,10 i used spherical lens. It is cool, but has no realtime preview and is hard to work fast with. 11 and 12 are just plain geometry and pinhole camera ;) Hmm.. I will have to skip GI to finish it on time.

Just some obvious spots. I tried GI but it renders long and does not have so much control.

Akkura.
This is breathtaking.
This has, if I can say, the simple perfection of japanese gardens.
Beautiful. :wavey:

"Mysterious"
This is what an astronaut may encounter in distant future. A life form? A construction? A process? It will have some purpose, some meaning. But it will be so diferent to us, we will never be able understand it.

I think this is brilliant! It's like a 3d realization of a Yves Tanguy painting! Best of luck to you!

IMO that's of the best 3D pics I've ever seen. It reminds of Storm Thorgerson's art. This picture has a very strong "Pink Floyd feeling":) It could have been appeared in the Video Clip of High Hopes...
Take a look at this site, and you'll know what I'm talking about:

Nice!
