this was inspired by my rapidly declining financial situation, and can be taken as a kind of visual journal. no worries, its more black humor than a cry for help :)

i figure that if it all falls apart, and you cant keep a dark sense of humor about it, then you got nothin.

thanks for the kind words! your icon alone makes me fall over laughing. its brilliant!

i was kind of torn about the quality of the drawing (the sketch was done in maybe 15 minutes in charcoal, simple color overlays in photoshop), i may redo/refine it completely once im better with the digital paint brush, just to give it a more "polished" kind of messy look...

Heh! Interesting idea! Looks like the left eye even has a mark like a clown (vertical stripe above and below the eye) which makes it even cooler, imho.

"A clown and his money are soon parted" :p

yeah, i love the expressiveness of the line, it helps with the whole downwards spiral effect. very cool idea, you should take this to a finish.

wow, this thread is still alive? cool deal! thanks everyone!

left eye even has a mark like a clown
clown, huh? i never thought about that. it was supposed to be streaming tears  (like these, heh heh) but thats an interesting spin.

you should take this to a finish.
but....but.... i kinda like this "crappy unfinished mess". until i figure out how to make it "finished" yet still messy, im gonna keep staring at it like this.... (but im open to suggestions and examples)

i can relate to it too,
if only one person out there in the world somewhere can take a little piece of my work home like this, then my work here is done! and i hope you get out of your troubles, too, man.
