2004 animation (http://archi.lab.free.fr/2004/)
animation made with lightwave, on a pII450 with a ugly old gfx card
constant previews requiered, too much time to perform a better animation

nice animation, the neck cracking is a sick, made me...ew
haha, and the star crash at the end was a little hillarious
only thing though? something about the sync of the stick tapping and its sound at the really biggening...
kinda made me confussed...
once he hit the 2k3, sound was pretty super :wip:

This is quite hilarious. You show a very fine sense of humour. All one can say to thank you for such a hearty laugh is: "Have a great 2004 yourself!"
Great work archimede.
hey ! nice funny thing ! I'd say that the animation work is better than the rendering ... maybe just rework the framing a bit...
what did u used for animation? a custom rig / third-party tool / character studio ?
cute ! :p

thank you all for your cool comments :)
wako you are right, toolz will maybe come out this year, hope so
Toolz post - the day of the living toolz (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45150&perpage=15&pagenumber=1)
but there is still a lot of work on it. animation is ready, background modeling quite finished, but not much texture work has been done.. wondering why.. ^^
fraa i think i am going to compose with a postprod soft, i did not do it before exept for sound (first time i do it). this way i think i will get something more.. dont find the word... yet!
rig is acs based, i modified and added a few things. the rest has been done 'academicly', no thirdparty tool. move timeline, key, move/rotate a thing, move timelein, key,... no motion mixer
the one thing i am really glad, is you all laughed or smiled at least :)
i am currently working on another personal animation with the same character. i should say 'stay tuned', but dont know when the next animation will be finished, according this is personal work. :]
