Looks very good so far, and not the easiest vehicle to model it has some very intricate body lines. Keep at it!

o one thing how do you create those nice seams in your car. Like where the door is and the hood. Can i see a wire frame also.

Thanls for the reply's guys.....
OK here is the wireframe. The images shown above are a smoothed version of the car.
The wireframe is unsmoothed.
Software used is Maya and modeled with polys.

Click on image for bigger resolution....
Oh and about the seams, you just need to place the egdes closer together, I usually do it with Split Poly Tool.

Here is an update...
Had other things to do so I haven't worked on it till recently.
I'd say 85 to 90% of the modeling is done plus I have to fix the parts around the rear lights that are uneven.
Tell me what you think so far...

Hi Berko
It's looking really great. I totally fell in love with the Crossfire the first time I saw one. Now if I could only afford the 38k to buy one! My first glimps was on one of those car carrier trucks that can hold about 10 cars--all Crossfires! The last one was really special though, it had a special two-tone paint job. If I remember correctly it was basically red but the doors and back panel had been painted white. Seriously it looked incredible on that car. I'll try to find an image and post it for you later.
Good job!

Great modeling job so far!!
mintrieri, I don't think the white was paint on that Crossfire. They put a sheet of plastic on parts of the cars sometimes to protect the paint job. Sometimes you'll see same type of protection on electronics.. like a new washer and dryer or something :-)
