Is this intended to be The Taj Mahal itself or a figurine of it? Because to me it looks sort of small, like it's a replica of the real thing. And how do the people reach the front door? There's no stairway? leading up to it? If your going for ultra-realism it would help to give it more detail and more varied textures. It just looks too clean and perfect for the real thing.

dude put some real lighting, for example add GI-global illumination. or try adding HDRI with the image that is on background
wish you best

change background and work with realistic light and it will be awesome. Nice modeling.

adding some birds or people could help set the scale... also instead of global illumination i would use colored lights because they give you more control... i would also use the light to bring out some of the textures of the building... nice job... it was nice to see something outta the norm

very good model and texturing (maybe there's some scaling problems with the main cupola), but i think you could work on the composition. something like this would be great:

I updated the render.

klower - I got rid of the background, i didn't really like it either.

pandras - Ya the main dome looked too small because i rendered it from a perspective angle looking down the building. The new render is from the front and the dome's scale is more like the pic u posted.

i guess it's just a little too plain.. it's a good model with great texturing job therefore it needs a little justice..

give it some GI or composition.. rotate the camera angle so we can see some perspective.. with this kind of view, it looks like it's just there and move along people..
