Remember Frankenstein...?

Wasnīt sure how this was going to end up when i started the creation. The wires were a real challenge, but i think it ended up ok.

Since iīve had the opportunity to try out Cinema4D for some time, iīve used it for the machines, so itīs basically my first C4D models. :)
The wires, composition, lighting etc, in Bryce, and naturally Photoshop + Universe Image Creator for postwork.

Did I read that correctly? Bryce you say!!

I really like the feel of pic, the colours work really great and those wires look very cool. I must say the camera angle adds a lot to the look of things nice and low gives it a great sense of depth.

I only have one niggle with the pic and thats the depth of field on the wire closest to the camera, it looks like the DoF has been done in post and its bluring everything behind it. I think it would a whole lot nicer if it was toned down a little or just didnt blur the background geometry.

Other than that little niggle top work.

Thanx guys. :)

Yep, itīs rendered in Bryce. I havenīt come as far as to render a scene in Cinema yet, only played with the modeling tools. A great tool too. :)

Chojin,
Youīre right about the postwork, itīs done in post. Just not sure which side you mean though. The device on the right is blurred, but thatīs because itīs way back. (if thatīs the one) :)

Bryce, eh? Well slap me silly and call me a whore, who woulda thunk it?

Anyways, great render, especially for Bryce, you should be their poster child.

The only think that throws me off is the depth of field blur to the machine on the right, it's not much bigger than the one on the right, thus denoting that it is:
A) A much larger version of the one on the left and is really far back.
B) The same size and blurred for effect.

If B is the answer make it smaller and then add the depth of field. Otherwise it kind of looks as tho the camera was playing tricks.

Great render otherwise!

Hey Rochr, The bit I was talking about is the pipe hanging down on the left. The pipe itself looks cool with blur as it adds depth but its the area around the pipe that bugs me. Its blurs the geometry on the machine just behind the pipe too that should stay in focus. the post work appears to blur the focus plane around it .

Hope I made sense :surprised Ive only just got up :p

Again great work.

Can we see the direct render before the postwork? I'm curious to see how Bryce can produce such a great image
