I am not fimilar with who this is based on, but the character is excellent quality
Mort de rire.. Faut qu'elle voyes ca la Calmy Rey.
This is absolutly perfect, no kidding (i'm still laughing).
Can we have some wire and maybe more shots?
Did you work from scratch or from sketch? What did u use for the hair?
Just one critic, the nose texture doesn't blend well with the rest of the face.

I don't know who the resemblance is, but you've totally nailed down a freaking cool style with her. Nice one.
Cheers
Just a litle image for those who don't know the original model

Texx: how about some wicks ("mèches") in the hair. It would fit really sweet in the render.

Very well done! Good for a few chuckles. Definately not a lady I would want to associate with.
The "real" lady seems to have some white in hair, which isn't in the model.
great work
excellent texturing work, luv the hair too:thumbsup:
just two comments about the model : the nostrills are kinda sharp and the neck (the front) is flat

I think this should be on the front page. I love it. 5 stars.

That's pretty brutal caricature. Awesome. The exaggerations represent her personality Im sure-- not any odd physical features.
Yeah, the nose needs some different textural treatment.

Excellent work!
She just miss those white "mèche" à la Cruella :-)
For those who don't know swiss politician, this one is just a b....
She was in charge of the financial administration here in Geneva, but all she was interested in, was her own political career. So now, the poor pay a lot more taxes, and the rich a lot less, with her "great" program.
We now cal her "Calamity Rey"!

Remarkable work, there's a very harsh shadow around the collar of her blouse by her neck, it breaks the flow a bit but nothing major.

This is nice. I thought she looked familiar but once I read who she was I know I have never seen her before. That is one of the strong points of the pic. She has familiar strangeness if that makes sense.

Thanks for your comments. Here is some technical info:
I drew the hair over the final render (photoshop), basing myself on a kind of skullcap that I used as a reference for the colours and light.
The model was elaborated on the basis of a plastiline study, taken in picture previously.
I wasn’t consciously inspired of Pupi’s work [ladybird], but that’s true that there is a resemblance.
I haven’t done the white hair locks. The original doesn’t wear them that way all the time [even though it is one of her main characteristics].
Jef, merci pour avoir posté la photo de micheline.

the bird woman was made by pupii, a c4d artist.
i love the lips, they give her lots of character, she looks like an old teacher or so :)
