Im a new max user but know my way around a bit. Do you have any idea how i could create a user interface like {this one here) (http://www.cgchannel.com/story.php?story_id=1057) I dont know what the artist uses but could ou think of any technique i could use in max to reporduce it. Also think of the control panels in Halo if you every played the game.

paint it in photoshop, map in onto a plane and make it 50% transparent :9
