CGTalk - Help with..PDF?

I know its not really photoshop
but i didnt know where to post it =/

hoping you guys know the answer...

I usually have no problem printing to colour photocopiers / color lasers but im priting to a press this time...

and they told me i need a colour-broken (two-channels: one black, one PMS) document

and with 1/8" bleeds...

how do i do this with a pdf?

or can a pdf even do that? :surprised :shrug:

have you tried just setting up that doc in PS and saving as a PDF?

its press
so i need to use spot colours (pantone)

and it be pretty werid to do it in photoshop...
unless id work at 1200 dpi :p

you didnt say wether its contone or line art...you can do 2 colour in ps, depends on your needs...300dpi is fine for contone

tried PDF from illustrator then?
