Does the full version of Sasquatch support Z-Depth?
Thanks.

Well, I was looking in 3D World issue 47 article about budget animation, and the author used a Z-Buffer to composite a character in a field of grass. I thought maybe it was Sas-grass, and when I checked Worlys' website, i didn't see anything about Z-Buffer support...I'm kinda new at compositing (I got the DFX+ deal), so I must be misunderstanding something. Thanks alot :)

i think timothy albee who is doing kase ghost warrior said somewhere he used a depth merge to place characters into grassy fields etc and i'm pretty sure hes uses sas for the grass so i think it must get exported with the z depth buffer
perhaps he will confirm or deny this

From Page 71 of the Sasquatch manual:
Alpha Channel and Z Buffer Selection
Sasquatch adds its effects to LightWave's alpha channel by default, so the output is ready for compositing. Sometimes it's useful to get an alpha channel of only the LightWave imagery, or only the fur, so you can choose what the alpha channel should output with the ALPHA CHANNEL option button.
Similarly, Sasquatch writes its Z depth information into LightWave's output, allowing LightWave tools such as Hypervoxels, volumetric lighting, and Digital Confusion to work properly. Like the Alpha channel, you can decide if LightWave's updated Z buffer should show just LightWave's effect, just Sasquatch's, or both combined.
