CGTalk - help in creat ploygon tool

simple question:

how can i draw a single line on face ? i know it has to do with " creat polygon tool but i cant do it. it accept only triangle.......

please have a look at pictures:

in below picture i have a house from top view

i want creat polygon tool for a single line like this one below:

but the result come out as error:

Unless I am mistaken, if you want to make a line across a poly face, then you want to use the Edit Polygons/Split Polygon Tool.
