Hi all-

I am modeling a head for a character and I am using a front and side view of myself as reference. I dotted my face with a pen.

Here are the front and side views if you want to use them for practice.

front view (http://studentpages.scad.edu/~lcampb22/front.jpg)

side view (http://studentpages.scad.edu/~lcampb22/side.jpg)

The dots should for the most part should match between the front and side views.

ehehe, this is very cool and the first time I see anyone actually paint it on himself instead of doing it in adobe :D

saved it

You should submit it to 3d.sk or somewhere

That wasn't with a Sharpie, was it? That'll be a nice look for some time.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

Sharpie! oops! :banghead: No, I made sure I used a dry erase marker.

It is actually better to do the dots on your face instead of doing it in photoshop, that way the dots are assured to line up. Also, you don;t have to worry about depth problems, especially around the cheek bone areas.
