Hiya guys.
I need some "Getting started" tutorials for Maya since I'm just converting from 3dsmax (*caugh* shit *caugh*). Thank you in advance :)

I think the best start is the learning maya book from aw.
also nice is the art of maya book, witch is includet as pdf in the personal learning edition.

have a lot of fun

the sticky maya tutorial thread will get you rollin since 195...err hehe.no seriously those tuts will take you further than any book alias offfers.also the maya fundamentals(jim lammers) book is amazing. just pop the accompanying cd inside get some popcorn and watch and learn.

And thanks for the book / thread recommendations. I've ordered "Learning Maya" already ... Just rollin' my thumbs till it dumps in with the mail ;)

Why don't you hit F1 on your keyboard in maya and use the online manuals that come with it. Start with the Maya Basics and Instant Maya Unlimited and Instant Maya Complete.

Maya 4 Fundamentals from New Riders has a section for people converting from 3DSM to Maya.
