This is really really beautifull, thank you :) Shame on those who passed by in silence grr. I have been on fanboy mode for a while now but this is really beautifull, the eye for detail. It's my new backgr. what more can you want :) The black border works really wel to bring out the nice warm colours btw. And the the things you do with a sky GJ!.
Saw a older pic of this on your site and it came along really well. Especially with the corn-like plants in the front, the blurred front one works really well. The only flaw I can see what you made untill now is the bridge, or maybe it's simply unfinished, its like its sticked too the wall instead being a sub-part for it for a long time, needs some more texture and integration with the environment I guess. Oh and the house there is unfinished too? or not, didn't even noticed it tilll now.
for the rest I think you only need to add two things for a finishing touch. The wide empty scape in the mid-center can use a lil green color differentaion I think, or anythink else to make up for the emptyness. And to finish it up I think a object at the front, by the plants would really add to the composition. Maybe a lil tree or a empty can, or maybe a trashcan would be less cliché :) well for you to figure out, but think somehting liek that would really make it pixel perfect. Good job man, hope you have the patience to finish this up, the piece really is worth it!
What program u use, what pixel size is this, how long you worked on this? (i would for like a month straight :)

Hard to say how long I´ve been working on this.....I did the background way back when I was just learning to use photoshop, but I never felt it was finished.....Now I´ve spent probably 2 - 3 working days cleaning the picture up a adding all the houses, plant etc.
Ill post an update tonight where I´ve put more work into the house, bridge, path etc.

I'm always amazed at people who can draw these huge landscapes. One thought....maybe some aerial perspective would be good here. Meaning....making things get a little less distinct and less saturated because of the atmosphere, as you get further out.
Compositionally, I really like it. The triangle created by the sun, and two little structures on left and right, keep you circling around the image and the intensity of the sky both draws your attention and then makes your eyes move to the lower part of the image, just to rest in the darker area.
Very cool.
yo, check out that landscape...awsome, this could have easily been edited a lil and entered into the alienware challange...

ok, forget that for now, really nice...nice warmth colours...though? what kinda fairytale would it be?
some areas seem a lil empty, but yes? you're working on it still...waiting for updates

nice stuff, you use 3d anywhere too?
Expose that path, to lead the eye through the painting, once you focus on those plants your eye gets stuck in the thorns.. ouch ;)
