Hi, this is one of my last jobs. It's a living room made in Max 5 using the Radiosity render. Composition made in Photoshop. The plants on the right are pictures, but everything else is modelled.
Sorry about the size.

Muito bém amigo! O apartamento é mesmo bém feito. Aluga-se o apartamento?

Very nice lighting and a warm atmosphere.
But was the rendering with Max' renderer a painful slow impression? :)

Thank you. it was made in 4 or 5 day I think. The rendering was the default scanline renderer in Max 5 using radiosity advanced ilumination. The time was about 13 or 14 hours in 3000 x 2250px, using an Athlon Xp 1700, 1024 RAM.
Radiosity isn't a fast render is sure.

the only thing that pulls my eye, is the glassware in the cabinets at left. They're glowing too much, mebbe knock down the reflectivty a hair.
Other than that: WOW, Great stuff!

Would it be too much to ask for a higher res render so we could see all the great details?

wow! this is 3dmax default scanline? i thought for sure this was final render. can u pls. post a wireframe with the light setup that's visible so we can study your technique.

Thank you! Well, there is only three lights in the scene. The main light is a Max's Daylight, in the position of the sun. This light bounces in all the room. The other two are omni lights that illuminate the glasses, with short atenuattion and yellow color. Thats all.
