Hi,
do you already have a usable UV mapping? If yes simply start the wizard and let him create the textures for you. Make sure to uncheck the option to create new UVs in this case. After that you are ready to go.
You have to switch to the BodyPaint layout for easy access to the BP tools.
If the model has no usable UV map you can let the wizard try to create one or you can start with creating one using the BodyPaint UV Layout.
Hope this helps

You're asking a question which requires several paragraphs to answer. Start with the tutorials included with the app to learn the basics.

Maybe you should start by making yourself familiar with the interface and the tutorials.
The button to change the layouts is the first from top in the left tool bar. If you are used to the LW interface maybe simply switch from Icons to text, this might make things easier for you. For this just right click on the toolbar you want to change and select if you want Icons, Text or both.
Hope this helps

As well as the other excellent advice, you'll have better luck if you ask specific questions, like "How does bodypaint work" - not just "okay"...

This is up to you as an artist. Have you been able to create a realistic image of a face in Photoshop? If yes Body Paint can make it easier for you to do this directly in 3D and match your 3D model way easier.
Also most photo realistic textures i've seen so far were based on an actual photo and then adjusted and reworked.
BP can make this pretty easy with Projection Painting.

anything is possible i guess.
you can change layouts by clicking on the top most icon on the left tools palette....then choose bodypaint.
read the manual...they are very good...at minimum run through the vids or tuts...all well worth the effort believe me...i'm not trying to be offensive in any way.

Well I have th demo of both of these and I am just trying to learn how to use them and It didnt come with the files that it comes with when you buy it.
After seeing your signature:
Remember nothing is impossible when you have read the manual.
Remember nothing is impossible when you have Bodypaint.
Remember nothing is impossible if you can paint.
Remember nothing is impossible if you have patience.
Remember nothing is impossible if you practise.
;) :scream: :p

lol.
ok makes sense if you just got the demos...
there are some downloadable pdfs about somewhere maybe someone can post the link.
Oh - without manual - thatīs a tough one. Forget my previous post then! Your question is a bit much to ask then -> do a search on this forum, you should be able to find some BP tutorials. Good luck!
