Only worked on this guy a little tonight.

I scaled his hands up a little ( not seen in these renders ), and I played around with adding some minor detail in his back.

I think I'm going to look for some body builder images, just to see exactly what the muscles should look like. I just guessed, that why they look so bogus.

Anyway, the plan is to post updates as I make them, so here's the latest.....

p.s. I'm also thinking about re-doing his face completely. I'll keep the head shape because I like it, but I think I want to change his face.

Looking good. For some excellent muscle reference, do a search for Kretin's Spawn model... friggin' awesome.

Also, minor point, but why start a new thread for each update? It makes it hard to follow your progress, and it doesn't allow people to see your progress from beginning to end in one thread. My 2¢...

Just a small update.

I modeled some boots and tweaked the back a little. I'm hoping to spend some time on the boots tonight. What you see here is the rough shape. I want to add some straps with buckles, or laces or something. ( not working with any ref image, so I'm kinda working in the dark ) :(

They are meant to look bumpy. I'm trying for a worn look. ie: how the ankles and side of the foot press out on the side of leather boots. The finished product should look pretty good. ( My LW texuring skills are in the toilet, so that'll be my next hurdle. )

Looking cool from what we can see :)

I'd have to agree ,you should keep them in one thread so we can follow along.

I'd also like to see some clearer renders, front, 3/4, back ect, so we can see how the whole modeling is progressing :)

Looking forward to an update!

Thanks for having a look!!!!

I'll be sure to use this thread as the continuation of The Creep's progress. :)

I'll also be sure to post the requested views in the next post.

I've decided to completely change his face. I'll keep the head shape because I like it, bit I'll change the face for sure.
The upcoming renders will have the current face. :(

I made some changes to the boots, and tossed on some place holder colors for textures. Note: the textures on the boots, etc, will change. I also have to tweak these boots a little more. :)

The alt views are coming. :)
