Hi, this is my fisrt attempt at using 3D programs before now i only ever did 2D for websites and school and perspective 3D in autoCAD for school, but now i tried the demo of C4D and created these pictures of a planet space theme, im trying to do modelling for one i dont have the program to do it as the Demo isn't suffiecient and what i have tried is impossible hard so i just through the basic shapes together artisticly, add some materials and textures, place some lighting and render then take a screenshot of the render and tag it in photoshop so here are my first 3d ARTISTIC attempts

there...um...isnt really much here to crit dude...I dont even know what the goal of this piece is, so I cant really give you any pointers as to how to improve it.

Not trying to be funny but you might be better posting up on www.3dcafe.com or www.3dbuzz.com. I'm only a beginner as well but here is for the more pro people. :p
