Hello,

Someone could explain to me how the Fill Opacity Option of a Layers Work ?
This option doesn't exist in After effects so i try to reproduce the same effects...

Thanks to you.

Normal opacity affects the transparency of a layer, fill opacity affects the intensity of any effects such as blending modes or layer styles. I don't think you'll get an equivalent in AE.

"Fill Opacity" allows you to keep the effects you have applied to a layer at full strength, while making the layer itself fully or partially transparent. That's what your talking about?

I'm not familiar with after effects, but in earlier versions of photoshop you could get a (in certain cases) similar effect by rendering out the effects with "create layers" Would that kind of approach work with after effects?
