View Full Version : Character: Mech W.I.P.

Started this for a game design student's project yesterday. It's the 'naked mech' that you start off with in the game (see the wonderfully detailed concept art they gave me...), and then gets bigger and more cool looking as you get better armor/weapons. The final with weapons and armor is supposed to be a total of 2500 tri's max, so i have alot to work with still. this project marks a few firsts for me...

1. Making a mech character
2. Texturing a metal character
3. Making a totally articulated character
4. Full FK animation, including the legs (not happy about this one at all...)

please crit the model, i will start texturing once ive modeled the peripheals... which should be done in the next few days.
