Hi folks,

o pardon me english!

Let's say a bullet goes tru glass, i suppose one could use a particle system to simulate the glass bursting, and pieces flying, and mabye a map for the window pane, right? But what if a bullet or some sharp object goes through flesh? How would i get a piece of skin to hang from a knife point for example? Softbody? Ok, ok i know it sounds gross, im just trying to explain the knd of look i want to achieve.

Here's what i want to achieve: Its of a alien creature breaking through it's eggsack. I want slime and pieces of the egg to stick to it's "tentacles". If anyone has any ideas, that would really be welcome. I am struggling.

Hi, yes thanks i have indeed seen that specific tut, and it does help. However, i'm not sure what would be best to get the pieces of slime or egg sack to stick to the tentacles. I'll keep on maxn.

The pieces of eggsack could be done with cloth simulation... attach some verts to the alien and let the rest of the piece sway around.
