hi,

i just finished my first useful mel script - it allows you to toggle between full screen mode and restored mode - in effect it uses Hide UI Elements and Restore UI Elements

it hooks itself to the hokey Ctrl-Space

feedback on functionality is welcome

(copy to your scripts folder and source it)

have fun,

i've been looking for such a script/plugin on highend3d - but must have missed it - is it a script or plugin?

Not bad, you know you can already set hotkeys for this right? It's nice to have it toggle with one keybinding though. Instead of one to hide and one to restore.

thanx for teh script:)

yeah - i had hotkeys for hide and restore ui elements - but when i accidently hided them 2 times i had to restore them manually - that was a pain, aight!

that's why i took the challenge :)

i'm quite new to mel, so... the documentation doesn't show the tab key as a possible hotkey

maybe a plugin could do that

I use Ctrl+Space to hide and Ctrl+Alt+Space to restore.

I have a marking menu (letter "d") for all my display options: wireframe, shaded, wireframe on shaded, x-ray, etc.

And now I have this usefull toggle as well!
