CGTalk - strange mailbox

this is my first picture post (if this works), so show a little mercy. it is an older version, and i have since done some work on the gums, the grass (by GRAYSON at TURBOSQUID), and the lighting. still need to do major work on the teeth. this is the first real (more or less) object that i've done, after numerous spaceships and other futuristic-type vehicles, and so far it's come out better than i had expected. LIGHTWAVE 7.0, and a little over a year of practice.

cool idea, reminds me that Ghostbusters cartoon series. Ur right, the teeth need some work. I'd make them more pointy.

i've been at it for about 14 months - i was on a weekend shift at work for almost a year (3 days on, 4 off), and made some good progress, but went back to second shift in September, and haven't had as much time to put into it lately. thanks for the comments!

I really like the concept! You want us to show little mercy >:)
Nah, just kidding, only things that stick out to me are the crease in the tounge and the thickness of the tounge. The crease could be less, and the thickness could be more. That's just my opinion, keep up the good work :)
