I did a bunch of tweaking to the paint shader and its reflections after I got quite a few comments concerning it. I think I'll make some sponser decals to replicate the FINA and GULF motorsport cars (for a variation on a theme). Anyways, Let me know what you think

The back headlights look like they could use some work.

Work on the reflections on the hub caps, but man, overall;

GREAT JOB!

Looks good. You may want to check your vents on the nose and rear.

I spent about 9 weeks modeling the car and a month (off and on) screwing around with the shaders for the paint and glass. I'm still not %100 satisfied with the paint, but I'm gonna let it go. I'm still getting a grasp of Maya...

I'm working on the BMW (fina) motorsport version from the 1996 gtr.

Nice car and nice picture!!
This is my car
Vehicle:Mercedes DTM (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=115285)
I use maya 5.0 and all NURBS to do it. I take a lot of time to research the carpaint texture,but I am still unsatisfied with it.
I like your carpaint, could you get me some suggest about carpaint material and the light for render a realistic car. Thank you!!
Your car is good,maybe you can try compisition with a photo.
