Hi All,

Just want to know if this is possible...
I've been playing with network rendering - and I'd like for there to be a notification when the frame is done on one of the other render nodes - but not through email (which seems the only way listed), I want a sound to play or a quick popup message on the manager computer to inform me of the completion.

Is there a way to do this?
If not - is there a way this could be done with Maxscript? - Should be easy...

you could try going to customize--->preferences--->rendering tab and adding a sound to the Render Termination Alert, though I'm not sure if it will work for network rendering

what's sweet is that timex makes this watch that has a built-in pager you can call by sending an e-mail to a specific addy...
tehn you can get notified quickly anywhere!!!

C'mon! - there isn't any way short of buying a fancy watch to get a simple notification on the manager computer? :D

Any MAXScripters out there want to take a crack at this? - I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard..
