Here is the first of many illustrations, for a record cover, which i am currently working on.
As some of you might remeber, last years illustrations where some where out in space,
now they landed on earth in a deep ocean and they are ready to dive.

More will follow...

Main body was modeled in Wings3D, small outer parts where modeled in Strata.
The whole thing was textured, lit and radiosity rendered in Strata 3.9

Nice crisp render, great modelling and textures. I'm not so sure about the water though. Maybe it just looks odd because it is reflecting a black environment.

Thank you for the kind words, yes it is floationg in the water, I will post some renderings of it, when it is diving later, my mashine is working on them, so stay tuned...
