Hi all,

The Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) SIGGRAPH chapter is having its first official meeting and has kindly setup a special EXPOSE' event with presentations from Steven Stahlberg, Robert Chang and Tan Jin Ho. Malaysian artists Kong Foong Ching and Jane Wong will also be present, with autographed books available for purchase at a discount price at the event.

Steven Stahlberg will be speaking about the making of the cover image "One Last Time", Tan Jin Ho will speak about some of his EXPOSE' award-winning work, and Rob Chang will be introducing the new D'Artiste Digital Painting book which is currently being published by us.

Date: 14 January 2004
Time: 2PM - 6PM
Venue: CADC
Creative Applications and Development Center
Enterprise 1, Suite 001 & 010
Block 3440, Jalan Technokrat 3
63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor D.E.
Malaysia

So do join us for a great event if you're close by (Malaysia/Singapore...). This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet and see some of these top artists in action. More information including an agenda, and the online registration (free) is here:

I wish I was in that general area :) Speaking of Exposť, will you be bringing cool stuff to 3dfestival this year too?

What cool stuff are you referring to? Pictures of Photoshopped naked women? We will be doing promo for both D'Artiste - Digital Painting and EXPOSE' 2 at 3D Festival. Our first D'Artiste book Digital Painting by Robert Chang, Linda Bergkvist, John Liberto and Philip Straub should be on sale there.

This Malaysian event is going to be really great. If you're in Singapore/Malaysia, do let your friends know about it. Hope to see many CGTalkers there.

Best,

Leonard

Sweet, I'm looking forward to looking through D'Artiste. And yes, photoshoped naked women are always welcome... I still have the pack of cards from last 3dfestival ;)
