View Full Version : Character/Texturing : StrangeDude
chrisJ 01-04-2004, 04:15 PM This is my first submission of any kind here at CGTalk. I am looking for some advice, crits, or whatever else you think about the texturing and lighting. I know the modeling is bad;)

spooky--
i think you do set the idea of being repulsive but there are a few things bothering me:
- the white light (reflecting on the face) doesnt fit with the background which is more of an orange/purple soft lighting
-area between lips and nose looks a bit stretched to me, and there is either a hard shadow/poly missing that on the bottom right of the lower lip
-ears are not as 'sweaty' looking as the face
-eyes are a bit too light, they dont fit in the eye sockets (shadow ?)
otherwise i think the veins are outstanding.. post updates !

I did render it out just like this with the image in the back. I guess it would be easier to just render the head and composite later?
