Hey here are some links to some of my old tutorials, I can't find all of them so really its just two right now and one was more of a sampl file than a tutorial but it deals with mixing textures which many users for some reason seem to have an issue with.

anyways I will upload more when I find them I believe there were six in all but my memory fails me often:rolleyes:

head tutorial file (http://www.cgi.third-era.com/~kaiskai/patchfacetut.zip)
head C4D files (http://www.cgi.third-era.com/~kaiskai/patchfacefile.zip)

Texture mixing file (http://www.cgi.third-era.com/~kaiskai/stonepath.zip)

Actually that was a student Actor For a theatre production the school was working on, I modeled his face for the Wizard of Oz, he was the actor and played the wizard in his human form but we did a 3D animationof his face with a matrix like texture for some techno sorta effect. I had to get written consent to use his face in the tutorial that wasa hassle.

As for head it is all modeled using patches, did you download both files, one is the tutorial, and the other is the C4D files which should have the final model and one or two stages in the process. POatches and such. This tutorial is in serious need of an update as there are many plugins that would make this much easier, and edge loops should be used more in the model (I also hate the lips)

Hope it helps though, and I will try to find the spriteplanes tutorial as it is a really helpful one with some great texture in it.

But i will try to see if i can figure it out and try to do some thing with the B Nurbs.

Thx for the answer:bounce: :bounce: :wavey:

Re uploaded the stonepath texture mixing file, this time with the textures, and a slight tweak in the alpha so now you should see what it is doing.

As for how I joined the beziers, once you have set the final resolution on them that you want, you convert to polygon meshes by either using current state to object, or make editable (hit "C") then once that is done you weld the points together. In the tutorial I did points all one at a time. now with the stitch and sew plugin you can do up to ten at a time, or pay five bucks for the full version, and do as many as you need at once.

find the plugin and many others here:
