In painter 8, is there any way to display your brushes in one big fat fly-out shelf, or is there a way to customize a shelf with just the main brushes you use? clicking the drop-down and scrolling for days is kind of cumbersome. im not really sure how to run a search on something like that, so i was hoping someone here might know?

Hi,

Yes. You can create Custom Palettes if you've installed the Painter 8.1 patch.

Read the bottom half of my second message in the following thread, where I explain where to download the Painter 8.1 patch and the updated Painter 8 User Guide in PDF format, and where to find instructions for using Custom Palettes in that PDF file (the updated Painter 8 User Guide).
