You should tweak a bit more the anatomy, especially in the shoulders, the muscle looks like pinched. The face needs also more work.

but i just wanna say something about the real scorpion king from ilm ....it think it's the worst thing they ever delivered !! i hated this scene the king was made so crappy ! never expected that from ILm !!!:shame:

well anyway i think thats a great model how long did it take you ? which technique did u use ? and which Software ?

The last I read was that ILM did not do the last scene because the budget on the movie ran down. But then again it could be marketting shifting blame.

About the Scorpion King, i heard that he was also from ILM, BUT, he was an almost last minute design decision, PLUS he was made from a different departement of ILM, which is quite plausible, cos is explains the HUGE fluctuations of graphics quality throughout the movie...

good model. i like the DOF in your render, i could never get the hang of that :hmm: my only suggestion is to make his arm pits deeper. maybe they just seem like they need to be deeper cuz im incredibly skinny and thats how mine are :D but good job man.

funny somebody mention a lobster...

I created a character a while back, half woman half crab. Here is an old picture I found laying around... it has changed a bit since... nothing drastic tho.

It was my wife's birthday and went bought a couple of lobsters for dinner.

I took extra care when I was eating mine to keep the shell as intact as possible. Then I let it dry in the sun and when ready I scan the best pieces of it to create the textures.

I think it was worth the work. I can post close ups later when I get home.
